Part heartache, part victory dance. Meet Kristina Gehman.

This emerging songwriter/performer tackles real life issues throughout her blazing debut album “Run Awhile.” On it, Kristina repeatedly testifies to her real life message – that through the joy and sorrow of living, you need to know who you are at the core. Kristina is a singing fighter armed with full figure sass and soul.

Her music comes to life with a touch of blues, folk, country, gospel and good old rock-n-roll. Backed by a core band of veteran Pennsylvania players cooking with beat and soul, “Run Awhile” proves impossible to resist.

Through all the facets of this album, the heart of roots music burns at its core.

To develop the album Kristina decided to explore song writing with South Central Pennsylvania musical journeyman-producer Steven Courtney. Courtney has produced music and video content for artists ranging in style from folk, bluegrass, americana to gospel and rock. Courtney says, ‘ Kristina has a smooth yet edgy voice and a passion for singing about the real life stuff. She’s a soul singer.’

If that’s true “Run Awhile” should win Kristina a vibrant and strong new fan base as she begins to play area shows throughout South Central Pennsylvania.
